Well that was a long time coming. After several hiccups delaying the release of the anticipated Pokemon Bank, players in North America can now store up to 3000 Pokemon from across the various DS and 3DS incarnations. If you stayed current with always transferring your old captures into each successive generation, this could be a lot of Pokemon. Apparently using the bank nets you a free Celebi, at least according to the website. This service has a free 30-day trial period, but then comes with a yearly charge of $4.99. Assuming this is going to be a widely used service, 5 bucks a year is really not too much to ask for. Also I can only assume going forward, this will be the centralized, default way Pokemon are stored and traded into successive generations of games. So if you are still Playing Pokemon X or Y, go to the E-Shop and download the app to get started.
