So after years of resisting the tempatation, I eventually ended up cracking and buying a friggin iPhone 4S. I managed to go years without even so much as thinking about getting a smartphone, but I eventually had to crack. After schleping through a couple of years using a (mostly) functional Android phone, I decided to finally say fuck it and get an iPhone. That also may have to do with the fact that I always had an iPod, but those would tend to…well they would get stolen. A lot. More times than one should have an iPod stolen. As in more than one.
Anyway, after the last time my iPod went missing, I said fuck it, as I had an upgrade available on my Verizon plan anyway, I decided to go finally buy one of these new-fangled Apple telephones. Now I wanted this for the streamlined experience for only having one fucking device in my pocket at all times. Okay, so it’s been…what the fuck? Okay it has apparently been two months and some change since I last updated this blog. I have excuses, not going to foster them upon you. Let’s simply go with…I have not been present in my own gaming life really. I have not been taking the time out to seriously do it, it has had to get pushed to the side in favor of other, honestly less fun things. However! The time for hesitation is over, and I realize in order to sort of re-capture whatever writing flow I had, and really move my own blog here forward, I need to be writing…more. A lot more. I need a reason to write a lot.
Wait one second, I am going to finish this thought, I just need to buy something from the Steam Summer Sa…fuck. I have a lot of Steam games in my library I have never fucking played. Like it may be over 100 games here. That’s a lot. Should I start going through my Steam library and playing every game I own? Maybe write about them? I think so. This would make for an insane amount of content, and really I need an excuse to go through this backlog, it’s getting too big. So in any case, I guess I will just go alphabetically through the list in my Steam library, skipping a few games, mostly MMO’s. So we’re going to start this new Steam writing journey with “1…2…3…KICK IT! Drop That Beat Like an Ugly Baby”. Let’s see how far I can get with this before all these indie games I bought for 2 dollars kill me.
