Really though, who doesn’t?
Capcom is ‘evaluating’ their policy of making their consumers pay twice for content. Let me lend a hand, you double-dipping fuckers. If it’s on the disc, it should be given to the people who bought the fucking disc. I am fine with Day 1 DLC, but seriously. I get their argument about it being easier to DL and access if part of it is already on disc, but really that simply means, at least to me that they should not be charging for that content in the first place, past the initial purchase price.
This DLC model has truly become over-monetized as this console generation soldiers on. It especially seems Capcom tends to be at the forefront of this bullshit, touting the DLC=money horn in an effort to sell us the 60 dollar game we have all been waiting for, but now we really end up paying 68 dollars for it. It’s petty and really it’s a quick way to have your customers lose faith in you.
What’s next Capcom? Mega Man XI, 15 bucks download, but then we need to pay 3 bucks for Wily’s Castle and the fucking Rush Jet. Damn that makes me annoyed, here’s the forum fuckery for those interested parties: Capcom Unity Forums
I was thinking about that Smash Bros clone Sony is putting out. I know we really don’t know the roster at all, and really who could be fucking in it? Seriously. Instead Sony, since the inception of the PS1 has had what can only be called a whacky fucking plethora of characters to grace a disc. While Nintendo characters are diverse, they are all made by people who have had Nintendo sensibilities, putting them in a certain mindset. Sony on the other hand, has courted tons of third party developers since the PS1, which leads to a more varied cast of characters, and in a certain sense, a more varied possible roster of fighters. So really let’s make a list, a dream roster that would make me want to forget Smash in an instant. Continue Reading
